Boutique Cinema Lounge

Scope of works

• Full entertainment fit-out of a 900 m² boutique cinema lounge, including arrival, host desk and pre-show seating zones
• Supply and installation of a dark linear timber-slat ceiling integrated with concealed LED strip lighting and surface track spots
• Acoustic wall treatment and finishes to control sound bleed and reverberation in the lounge and adjacent screening areas
• Fabrication and installation of the feature marble bar and large-format stone flooring from Al-Suhool's in-house marble workshop
• Joinery package: open black metal display shelving, curved reception/host desk and timber entrance doors
• Loose furnishings and decorative scheme, including velvet lounge chairs, ottomans, area rug and the mandala-pattern accent wall
• MEP coordination, lighting controls and final QA/QC handover

Design & features

• Dark linear timber-slat ceiling with concealed LED strips that adds rhythm, warmth and acoustic absorption overhead
• Brass dome pendant lights paired with discreet track spotlighting for a layered, cinematic glow
• Feature marble bar and large-format grey stone flooring that lend a polished, premium base to the space
• Jewel-toned velvet lounge chairs and ottomans in royal blue and lilac for plush, tactile comfort
• Hand-styled mandala-pattern accent wall and curated gallery framing that give the lounge its boutique identity

The challenge

The brief called for cinema-grade acoustic control without resorting to clinical, padded surfaces, while still delivering a warm, boutique lounge that photographs beautifully and welcomes guests before the screening.

Our solution

Al-Suhool's in-house team integrated acoustic performance into decorative elements, the slatted timber ceiling and treated walls, and fabricated the feature marble bar and stone floors in its own marble workshop, delivering the works in coordinated phases with full QA/QC sign-off.

The outcome

The completed 900 m² lounge opened in 2021 as a comfortable, acoustically controlled and highly Instagrammable pre-show destination, all stone and joinery delivered in-house and handed over snag-free.
