Retail Boutique Fit-Out, Dubai Mall
A 220 m² retail boutique fit-out delivered for a confidential brand inside Dubai Mall, completed in 2023. Al-Suhool created a bright, premium retail environment that pairs crisp white display joinery and a feature stone counter with warm walnut-veneer ceiling detailing and brass accents, all set under a clean, fully integrated lighting scheme.
Scope of works
- Full retail fit-out of a 220 m² boutique unit within Dubai Mall, from base-build handover to trading-ready handover
- Design and fabrication of bespoke display joinery and a central display island in high-gloss white lacquer
- Supply and installation of a feature stone service counter with brass trim and edge detailing
- Construction of a dark walnut-veneer feature ceiling raft with integrated recessed downlights and concealed lighting
- Full-height glazed partitions and storefront glazing with slimline framing for clear product sightlines
- Seamless light-toned resin/terrazzo-effect flooring, MEP coordination, lighting, and final snagging/QA/QC

The challenge
Delivering a premium, detail-heavy retail interior inside Dubai Mall meant working within strict mall fit-out regulations, tight after-hours access windows and a fixed trading-launch date, while achieving flawless finishes on the stone, brass and high-gloss joinery.
Our solution
Al-Suhool managed the project with an in-house fit-out and stone-workshop team, pre-fabricating the feature stone counter and display joinery off-site for fast on-site installation, and ran a phased programme with rigorous QA/QC to meet mall compliance and the launch deadline.
The outcome
The boutique opened on schedule in 2023 as a polished, brand-aligned retail space across the full 220 m², with durable, high-end finishes built to withstand high mall footfall.
